A Hopeful Madness is owned and operated by Shawn and Catharina Corbett. We began selling Mr. Borges art on Ebay in 2002. Our seller ID is cathy1972recife. Feedback from previous customers can be accessed there. In 2005 we created www.ahopefulmadness.com. Although we continue to utilize Ebay, most of our business comes via this website. We also occasionally show Mr. Borges work at various festivals and fairs. 

We are located in Commerce, Texas USA. If you are in the area we would be glad to arrange an appointment for you to see Mr Borges work firsthand. 

All items for sale are original woodcuts created by Mr Borges at his studio in Brasil. Each one is signed and dated in pencil by Mr. Borges. We do NOT sell reproductions.

We visit Mr. Borges annually or bi-annually. Art to be featured on our site is selected at the time. Items ordered from us are packaged and shipped by us here in Commerce, TX. Items do not ship directly from Brasil.
